The annual Olde Golden Christmas Events kick off with the Golden Candlelight Walk down Washington Ave in Golden Colorado in November.
Join Santa and Mrs. Claus, carolers and more, as thousands of revelers gather to bring in the Holiday season. Have fun and dress up in your favorite Holiday attire as numerous events and activities await you and yours up and down Washington Ave and around the Downtown Golden area.
Horsedrawn carriages, late-evening shopping, hot-cider and treats, all take place and culminate in Santa helping light the lights around the Golden Visitors Center and along Clear Creek.

The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra will present its season opening concert in October featuring guest artist Marcia Ragonetti, mezzo soprano, singing Songs of a Wayfarer and Gershwin selections.
Also on the program is the popular William Tell Overture, the hauntingly beautiful Die Toteninsel and the lively The Incredible Flutist: Suite.

The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra Concert event takes place in Golden Colorado in August.
Enjoy a free concert featuring the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra in beautiful Parfet Park in Golden, on August 18 at 6:30pm.
Bring your family and a picnic dinner and enjoy an evening of great music as you relax on the lawn. The JSO will Salute the Red, White & Blue, with a variety of pops and patriotic music.
The concert caps off the Golden Fine Arts Festival held in town over the weekend of August 17-18.

The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra performs at the Colorado School of Mines Green Center in Golden Colorado in February.
The 2017 Winner of the Jefferson Symphony International Young Artists Competition, Kamalia Freyling, will perform the technically challenging Clarinet Concerto by Ida Gotkovsky. Kamalia performs this impressive piece with grace and precision. Also on the program is Jean Sibelius’ beautiful Symphony No. 1 in E Minor.
