The Colorado Cowboy Poetry Gathering takes place at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden Colorado in January.
Coming off a record sell-out year in attendance, the weekend of performances, music, cowboy prose, and great FUN will inspire you and yours all over again. The Mammoths and Mastodons Titans of the Ice Age Exhibit is at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science in Denver Colorado from February 15 – May 27.
This limited time showing of the incredible animals of the ice age will inspire you and yours. Encounter some of history’s most wonder inducing specimens including saber cats, giant bears, and of course mammals like the mammoth and mastodon species.

Riding Denver Rails |

The Riding Denver Rails A Mile High Streetcar History event takes place in Denver Colorado in April.
Join author and local history tour expert Kevin Pharris for a journey through Denver’s transit past. Afterwards, explore the museum and see Denver’s Street Car #77, the 1888 No. 40 Cable Car which is “the oldest powered streetcar in CO”, as well as other transportation highlights that allow you to “journey through transportation history.”
$8 museum members, $12 non-members, $20 dual ticket (valid for two people). All Prices Include a Visit to the Museum! $2 off for teachers, students, ANFRM, and CWAM members (Must have valid I.D.)
