Electric Vehicles: Then & Now is a National Plug-in Day event highlighting the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs) by showcasing both the new EVs alongside the old. The Forney Museum of Transportation has vintage EVs from the early 20th century that will be on display next to modern EVs. Car show attendees will receive a $2 discount to the museum. In addition, there will be food and live music. This event is sponsored by Build Your Dreams (BYD), Nissan Leaf, and Solar City; vehicles to be showcased include the Chevy Volt, Fisker Karma, Mitsubishi i-MiEV, and Ford Transit Connect EV. This is an event with science, technology, health, and environmental education benefits.
